One of the most important resources for ESL students, especially at low levels of ability, is a body of audio recordings with consistent accents. Ideally, these recordings would strike a balance between truly native-level prosody and enunciation and one more appropriate to students hoping to improve, yet without going to such an extreme as to only be appropriate for young children.
